A Special Message To Calm Your Anxieties from the Paso de Cortez

Two things.

First, we haven’t seen any Trump signs in like 1,000 miles!

And then puppies. Puppies are always good for nerves.

Birthday lunch is going to be difficult – unless you want to meet me in Mexico City. Hope all is well!

Trump said yesterday he will charge 25% Tariff’s on goods from Mexico. I wonder if he knows that a lot of the goods we import are made by U.S. owned companies. Increasing the cost to U.S. citizens…… 🤪

And pledged mass deportation of migrants, again increasing cost to U.S. citizens ……🤪

    I love Puppies !!!!!

The tariff is going up. If the election lasted another year I think it would be 100%. We’ve seen a ton of evidence of Mexican manufacturing heading to the US. Lots of semis loaded with cars and trucks…

Hi John, It is great to read your daily reports about your adventure. Eric and I are in Spain installing a machine so we hadn’t seen a Trump sign for thousads of miles either. The problem is after today I don’t have near enough puppies to calm my nerves. As the song should now go: “I am ashamed to be an American where I don’t know if I’m free”.

Have a woderful trip. Don Olson

Thanks Don. Yes, it is pretty alarming. Think we’ll stay in the road for a while… Enjoy Spain. And great to hear from you!

Hey guys – if you are planning to be in the vacinity of the town of Tlalayo, I will check with some friends to see if they are there. I’ve been to that town a couple of times to visit lots of our co-workers who live there in the off season. If they’re there, they would treat you like royalty.

    Let me know,
