Okay, it’s been a while.
And we miss all of you.
Which brings me to the purpose of this post.
No, we didn’t start biking again …
No, our friend, and one of our loyal blog readers, Ed Eroe, asked us to do a Zoom presentation about our trip. Ed is the chair of the Twin Cities Bicycling Club’s Bike U program, which provides education about – yes, you guessed it: bicycling.

I guess Ed thinks we might have a few two-wheeled stories to tell . . . In any event, the Zoom call is scheduled for this Thursday, January 15, at 7 p.m. (More info here.)
The good news is that you are all invited to join. No need to be part of the Bicycling Club – this presentation is free and open to all.
The only caveats are that you must have Zoom downloaded on your device, and you must register (in advance) for the event. But fear not. Even with my very limited technical skills I was able to download Zoom and register for the presentation in under a minute.
(For those who do not have Zoom: Go to the App Store, search for Zoom, press the download button (the cloud with a downward arrow), and you should be good to go . . .)

A few other news items . . .
- Our friend Henry Lake invited us to talk about the trip on his show – the Lake Show on WCCO – a few weeks ago. Click here to listen to the podcast version.
- I know more than a few of our blog followers are also Diana’s patients. You will be happy to know that Dr. Liu is returning to work at North Memorial’s St. Anthony Clinic in March.
- Old Dan and Little Ann are enjoying what amounts to a long winter’s nap – though it is true that Diana kept up her normal pace of biking long after we arrived back at home.

Looking forward to seeing everyone Thursday evening. Think of it as maybe a little respite from the insanity of our world right now . . .

Hi John –
Would love to join the Zoom (or even see you in person), but Thursday is my tennis night! Is the Zoom being recorded?
